The protection of your private sphere when processing personal data is of great importance to us. Personal data is data which relates to your person. This includes your name, address and email address. You do not have to disclose personal data in order to visit our Internet site. Publication of job vacancies / online job applications / speculative applications

Your application data will be gathered and processed by us electronically in order to carry out the application process. Should an employment contract be subsequently concluded, the data transferred by you can be saved by us in your employee file for the purposes of the normal organisational and administrative process, in compliance with the applicable legal regulations.

Should your application be rejected, the data provided by you is automatically deleted six months after the issue of the rejection letter. This does not apply should longer saving be necessary due to legal requirements (for example the proof obligation under the General Law relating to Equal Treatment (Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz)) or should you have expressly agreed to longer saving in our interested persons’ database.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymisation function

We use Google Analytics on our website, a web analysis service of Google Inc,1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are saved on your computer and which enable an analysis of the use of the website by you.

In order to send the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, ie we will only send you a newsletter by email if you have expressly confirmed first that we should activate the newsletter service. The email addresses of our newsletter recipients and their other data described in this notice will be saved on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information in order to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. In addition, MailChimp states that it can use this information to optimise or improve its own services, for example for technical optimisation of the sending and display of the newsletter or for economic purposes, in order to determine the countries from where the recipient come. MailChimp may not however use this data of our newsletter recipients in order to contact them itself and it is not allowed to pass this data on to third parties. The newsletters contain a so-called “web beacon”, ie a pixel sized file which is accessed by the server of MailChimp when the newsletter is opened. Within the course of this access, technical information is initially gathered, for example concerning the browser and your system, as well as your email address and time of the access. This information is used for technical improvement of the services on the basis of the technical data or target groups and your reading behaviour on the basis of the access location (which can be determined with the assistance of your IP address) or the access times. The statistical information also includes details concerning whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and what links are clicked on.
